Simple Homemade Hot Chocolate

Notes: see ya powdered packets full of sugar and chemicals! When it's this easy to make your own at home, you'll never want to go back :) Great paired with homemade whipped cream or my healthy homemade marshmallows.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup milk of choice clean almond milk, raw whole milk or organic whole milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 splash maple syrup to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a saucepan to warm. When hot, pour liquid into a blender and blend until smooth, approximately 1 minute. Optional to add a dash of maple syrup, cinnamon, bone broth protein powder or add ins like my healthy homemade marshmallows too! Or if you’re feeling really festive, a little drop of peppermint extract or some homemade whipped cream on top.
