Tart Cherry Gummies/Jigglers
Notes: a re-make of a 90's classic (jello jigglers anyone?). But made real-food style: with healing beef gelatin (amazing for gut health & collagen), tart cherry juice (helps with sleep and calming the nervous system) and sweetened only with a little honey to taste. You can pour these into silicone gummy molds, or do them cut-out style as I did here, and either cut into squares or use mini cookie cutters for fun shapes.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups tart cherry juice
- 4 tbsp organic grass-fed beef gelatin powder
- 2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Instructions
- Pour juice and honey into a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir until honey starts to dissolve.
- Sprinkle gelatin over the juice mixture, whisking and heating as you go until most of the clumps have dissolved.
- Pour mixture into a square 8×8 pan or pie plate (if doing squares or cookie cut-outs) or use a dropper if adding into silicone gummy molds.
- Place in fridge for 30 minutes until mixture has solidified. Cut into shapes or squares. Keep stored in the fridge for up to a week.
