Homemade Whipped Cream (With Maple Syrup)
Notes: this is our favorite family dessert– with fresh berries or on it's own. And it couldn't be easier to make! Keeps great in the fridge for a few days too. Optional to use sugar or powdered sugar as a sweetener, but maple syrup is our go-to. It tastes delicious AND it's slower to release in the bloodstream. Feel free to add more maple if you prefer.
Ingredients
- 3 cups organic heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Pour heavy whipping cream, vanilla and maple into a large mixing bowl. Using an electric whisk, blend on medium low until cream thickens (approximately 6-7 minutes).
- Serve chilled with fresh berries. Store in a airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
